STEP-BY-STEP DIRECTIONS

|
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
In a bowl, mix together the
flour, cocoa powder, sugar,
baking powder, salt, and
chocolate chips.
Set
aside. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
In a
large bowl, whisk together the
egg, milk, and applesauce.
Slowly incorporate the dry
ingredients into the wet
ingredients, mixing just enough
to combine them.
Grease
muffin tins and fill them with
the batter up to 2/3 full.
Bake in the preheated oven
for about 20 minutes or until a
toothpick inserted into the
center of the batter comes out
dry.
Let the muffins cool
for 10 minutes before removing
them from the molds and serving.
