Shepherd's Pie
 
  STEP-BY-STEP DIRECTIONS :
 
 
  In a pot, boil the potatoes with a bit of salt and cook until tender.

In a skillet, sauté the onion and celery in oil until tender.

Add the ground beef and cook thoroughly.

Remove excess fat.

Season with salt and pepper.

Place the meat in an ovenproof dish.
 
 
 
  Spread the corn over the meat.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Drain the potatoes well and mash them with the milk to make a light purée.

Season to taste.

Cover the corn with the purée using a rubber spatula.

Melt a bit of butter and spread it over the purée.

Sprinkle with paprika, then bake in the oven for about 25 minutes.

Broil the top for a nice golden finish.
